With Omega, the reference decides the price – not just the model name. A Speedmaster with calibre 321 from the 1960s is a completely different market from a current Moonwatch with calibre 3861, and a Seamaster Diver 300M from the 1990s is valued differently from today's Master Chronometer models. That is why we assess every Omega individually at ChronoMarket: reference, calibre, condition and originality.
Omega models we buy
- Speedmaster: the Moonwatch is the most sought-after Omega on the pre-owned market. We buy modern Speedmaster Professional models with Hesalite or sapphire crystal, the Speedmaster Reduced, Racing and special editions. With vintage Speedmasters such as references 105.003, 145.012 or 145.022, the calibre (321 or 861), the originality of dial and hands, and the bezel matter most.
- Seamaster: Diver 300M, Planet Ocean, Aqua Terra, Seamaster 300 and older Seamaster automatics. With the Diver 300M we distinguish between the early quartz and automatic versions and the current Master Chronometer models, because the price differences are considerable.
- Constellation, De Ville and Railmaster: modern Constellations with the typical “griffes” on the bezel, vintage Constellations with “pie-pan” dials, De Ville models and the Railmaster. For vintage Constellations, collectors pay noticeably more for well-preserved original dials.
- Gold watches and ladies' models: for gold Omega watches we always take the metal value into account as well as the value of the watch.
Limited Speedmasters such as the “Silver Snoopy Award” models, Apollo anniversary editions or Seamaster models connected to James Bond have their own collector market. Here, complete box, certificate and accessories and any numbering count as much as condition – and we value them by what collectors pay today, not by the list price.

What determines the price of your Omega
- Reference and calibre: Co-Axial movements and Master Chronometer certification increase the value of modern models; with vintage watches, rare calibres count.
- Originality: replaced dials, hands or bezels lower the value, especially on vintage Speedmasters.
- Condition: an unpolished case with sharp edges is often worth more than a freshly polished one.
- Completeness: box, warranty card, receipt, service records and extra links.
- Service history: a documented Omega service is a plus. If there is none, we factor the cost into the offer fairly.
Omega without papers or in need of a service?
No problem. We check authenticity using the watch itself – serial number, case and movement. Missing papers usually lower the price moderately but do not prevent a sale. We also buy watches that have stopped or need a service. See selling a watch without papers.
How selling works
- Send photos. Dial, case back, side view and any papers via WhatsApp (+49 172 1832586). You usually get a first price range within 30 minutes during opening hours.
- Visit us. We inspect the watch at our store in Uhlandstraße 47: authenticity, movement, timekeeping, case and bracelet.
- Get a firm offer. You receive a binding price and an explanation of how we arrived at it. There is no fee and no pressure to sell.
- Get paid. If you accept, we pay in cash or by bank transfer straight away. Please bring a valid passport or ID card.
You do not sell to an anonymous buyer on the internet, but to ChronoMarket Luxury GmbH (Local Court of Charlottenburg, HRB 269675). You bring your Omega to Uhlandstraße 47 and speak directly with the people who value it. Just want to know what it is worth first? Free watch valuation.
Frequently asked questions
What is my Omega Speedmaster worth?
It depends on the reference – for example Hesalite or sapphire crystal, calibre 1861 or 3861 – as well as condition and completeness. You usually get a first price range from WhatsApp photos within 30 minutes.
Do you buy vintage Omega watches?
Yes. We buy vintage Speedmasters with calibre 321 or 861 as well as Seamaster and Constellation models from the 1950s to the 1970s. We check the originality of dial, hands and bezel on every watch, because it decides the price of vintage Omega.
Should I have my Omega serviced before selling?
Usually not. You rarely recover the full cost of a service when you sell. We check the technical condition ourselves and factor any service need into the offer fairly.
Can I sell my Omega without box and papers?
Yes. Serial number, case and calibre allow a reliable authenticity check without papers. Missing documents usually reduce the price only moderately.
Where can I sell my Omega in Berlin?
At ChronoMarket, Uhlandstraße 47, 10719 Berlin-Charlottenburg, a few minutes from Kurfürstendamm. A first estimate is also possible online via WhatsApp.
