Sell your luxury watch in Berlin

A direct buyer with a store in Charlottenburg: free valuation, a firm offer you can understand, and payment in cash or by bank transfer as soon as you accept.

If you want to sell a luxury watch in Berlin, you can sell it privately, take it to a jeweller or pawn shop, or sell it directly to a specialised watch dealer. At ChronoMarket you sell to a registered Berlin company with a physical store – not to an anonymous online platform. The Fisenko family has been in the watch trade since 2007, and every watch is assessed in person.

How selling your watch works

  1. Send photos. Dial, case back, side view and any papers via WhatsApp (+49 172 1832586). You usually get a first price range within 30 minutes during opening hours.
  2. Visit us. We inspect the watch at our store in Uhlandstraße 47: authenticity, movement, timekeeping, case and bracelet.
  3. Get a firm offer. You receive a binding price and an explanation of how we arrived at it. There is no fee and no pressure to sell.
  4. Get paid. If you accept, we pay in cash or by bank transfer straight away. Please bring a valid passport or ID card.

Which watches we buy

We buy luxury watches from Swiss and international brands, modern and vintage, with or without box and papers. Among them: Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Omega, Cartier, Breitling, A. Lange & Söhne, Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Richard Mille, Breguet, IWC, Panerai, Hublot, Tudor, Piaget, Zenith and others. Gold watches, ladies' watches and watches that need a service are welcome as well.

What determines the price of your watch?

We do not work with a flat estimate. Our offer follows the same five-step assessment for every watch:

  • Authenticity: reference and serial numbers, case, dial, hands and movement.
  • Technical condition: timekeeping on the timegrapher, winding, functions, water resistance.
  • Cosmetic condition: scratches, dents and – importantly – signs of previous polishing.
  • Completeness: box, papers, service records and extra bracelet links. They raise the price but are not required.
  • Current market value of exactly your reference, minus a fair dealer margin.

Tip: do not have your watch polished before you sell it. Polishing can soften the edges of the case and bracelet and often lowers the value more than normal signs of wear.

Dealer, jeweller, pawn shop or private sale?

Specialised watch dealer

A dealer values your watch by reference, condition and current market price – not by its gold or material value – and pays immediately. Look for a fixed business address and a company registration number.

Jeweller buying gold

Many jewellers buy watches on the side. For gold watches, their offer is often based on the metal value, which is usually far below the market value of a sought-after model.

Pawn shop

At a pawn shop you do not sell your watch, you borrow against it. The loan amount is generally well below market value, and fees apply for the term.

Private sale

Selling privately can sometimes bring a slightly higher price. In return you carry the payment risk, meet strangers for viewings and often wait weeks for a serious buyer.

Whatever you decide, a free estimate from a specialist tells you which price is realistic. Get your watch valued for free.

What to bring to your appointment

  • the watch itself – even if it has stopped or needs a service
  • box, warranty card or certificate, if you have them
  • purchase receipt and service records
  • any extra bracelet links
  • a valid passport or ID card

No box or papers? You can still sell. We verify authenticity from the watch itself – see selling a watch without papers.

Frequently asked questions

How do I sell my luxury watch in Berlin?

Send photos of your watch to ChronoMarket on WhatsApp (+49 172 1832586) for a free first estimate, then visit our store at Uhlandstraße 47 in Charlottenburg for an inspection and a firm offer. If you accept, you are paid immediately in cash or by bank transfer.

How quickly do I get paid?

Once you accept our offer, we pay in cash or by bank transfer – in many cases on the spot, and usually within 24 hours at the latest.

Do I need the box and papers?

No. Box and papers usually increase the price because they document origin and authenticity, but we also buy watches without them and check authenticity using the reference, serial number and movement.

Do you buy watches that are broken or need a service?

Yes. The condition affects the price, but there is demand for many models even if they need a repair. We factor the service cost into the offer openly.

Is there any fee or obligation?

No. The valuation is free, and you decide in your own time whether to accept our offer.
